James Otto


After leaving school, James dabbled in a managerial post at a supermarket where he realised retail management wasn’t for him. Returning to his studies, James achieved a degree in Media and Communications from the University of Greenwich and the world of work suddenly became more interesting! James’s passion and willingness to learn continues here at Greenwich Design. He puts his enthusiasm down to the creative studio environment, which he describes as inspirational even when it’s raining! A big fan of vintage fashion, James’s creative inspo comes from the likes of Sean Wotherspoon for his corduroy shoe and hat combo, Tommy Hilfiger for his 90’s classics, and the late Virgil Abloh for his Off-White masterpieces.

Little known fact: James featured in the BBC One documentary ‘Inside the Supermarket’, which he describes as “the cringiest moment of my life”.
