Exhibition Identity for Integrated Systems Europe

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) is the world’s leading professional AV and systems integration show, showcasing the latest technologies and solutions for commercial and residential applications. Greenwich Design was responsible for the overall creative direction of this year’s event, providing a look and feel for the brand that was ultimately rolled out across the hundreds of assets associated with the pre-promotion and onsite execution of the 2023 show.

What we did

Our first challenge was to develop a responsive theme that would stand out at the event itself and be versatile enough to work across many different platforms. Taking inspiration from modern art and technology, we created a set of amorphous shapes that felt contemporary but allowed ISE to maintain an outwardly business-like feel. Our brand guidelines outlined how the shapes could move dynamically to showcase different types of content depending on the size, layout and output of the creative. This enabled other stakeholders, e.g. the video production company, to create consistent, on-brand materials.

What happened

With the creative route signed off by ISE, Greenwich Design began rolling out the new look and feel across hundreds of different global marketing materials in the run up to and during the show. Assets included online and offline advertising, brochures, stationery, manuals, posters and signage, event graphics, three ISE show publications and many more. In addition to creating English language assets, we also supplied Spanish, Latin American, French, Italian and German versions.

The show, which ran from 30th January – 2nd February in Barcelona, was a record breaking success, with 126,243 visits overall and Tuesday and Wednesday clocking the highest attendances ever. We’re looking forward to our next challenge – kicking off the development of the creative routes for ISE 2024 and getting those numbers even higher.
